This sculpture project was inspired by the works of Swiss-German animator Otmar Gutmann. Here, we see a penguin merchant selling several types of fish for the low price of one clam shell. One penguin is about to pay, while a penguin chick hobbles off with its fish. This was my first sculpture project for a Narrative Sculpture course, but it allowed me to get experience in sculpting with polymer clay. I also learned to mimic snow by using coats of white and blue paint and then mixing them with glitter.
